Detailed Product Description

The product is an important hindered phenol antioxidant,readily soluble in organic solvents such as alcohols, esters, alkenes, aromatic hydrocarbons. It doesn't tend to volatile, and has nice thermal oxidation stability. If the product is exposed to air for a long-term, its color, and luster will deepen. It has the byname KY-7930 or antioxidant 702.

2. APPLICATIONS

It is used primarily in plastics, natural & synthetic rubbers; usually acts as oil additive, with fine anti-thermal-oxidation effect. It is also widely used in the oils operating under high-temperature conditions, such as heat transfer oils, quench oils, and special greases.

The recommended dosage is from 0.2% to 1.0%.

5. STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION

The requirements of SH/T0164 should be met during the storage, handling and blending. The maximum temperature should not exceed 75. The ambient temperature for long-term storage should not exceed 45. It is non-flammable, non-explosive, and non-corrosive. The precautions in safety, environment control, and application are the same as those of common petroleum products, having no need of special protection.
